Policy for private events 

 

Private Events Policy
A private booking is only accepted when the booking form is completed, returned and
deposit paid – only then will High Societhé confirm that the reservation has been accepted and your choice
secure date and time.
Any final balance for party bookings must be made at least 7 days prior to the party date.
All parts last a maximum of 2 hours unless previously agreed with the High Society
Our minimum requirement for all party bookings is 10 people charged at the prevailing rate per head
load;
We have tight start and end times for all games because we often run multiple games throughout
the day. We allow for a grace period of 15 minutes before the party starts and 15 minutes after arrival
time however any parties that exceed by more than 15 minutes will incur a fee of 15 euros per
15 minutes.
We do not allow any food or drink to be brought into the tea room and consumed unless otherwise specified.

We do not allow party poppers, table confetti, or decorative items that must be
attached to the walls.
Therefore, the following applies to ALL reservations:
1. It is our booking procedure to guarantee a deposit for all credit card bookings
details, cash, debit card or by payment via the High Society website.
2. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any reservation that is cancelled, or if
numbers are reduced without notice.
3. For all reservations, you must notify us of a cancellation or any change in the number of people
at least 72 hours before your reservation.
4. If cancellation is made less than 72 hours, deposits are non-refundable. High society
also reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £10 per person for any
reservations changed or canceled within this 72 hour notice period.
5. Cancellation charges reflect the costs incurred by High Society in terms of staff, food,
and any loss of revenue resulting from the rejection of other potential bookings.
6. We will notify you if cancellation fees apply.
7. High Societhé reserves the right to cancel, modify or postpone any reservation to another date or
date. In the event of outright cancellation of a reservation by High Societhé, a full refund of any deposit will be made.

Unacceptable Behavior/Property Damage
